Avoid drinking: Avoid consuming alcohol for at least 24 hours as it can increase the risk of bruising.
Avoid certain medications: Avoid taking blood thining medications or supplements such as aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, or fish oil for a few days to reduce risk of bruising or swelling.
